Good morning!!!
Just a quick e-mail to let you all know that I arrived in Belgium safe and sound and happy and exhausted!!! The trip went very smoothly. I didn't sleep much or well on the flight over, so I'm pretty exhausted, but everything went really well. They showed "The Blind Side" on the plane... a movie I really like, served curry chicken and rice for dinner like my Mom makes, which I love (with salad and dressing we have that I like too! :-), AND it was pretty much a full moon last night, which was REALLY bright and beautiful in the air! I love full moons! Thankfully, I had absolutely no issues with the Belgian customs getting into Belgium; they asked all the same questions as last time and didn't even ask how long I was staying... despite the concern from the Columbus airport people. :-) Our flight path was kinda cool too. We flew over a great lake or two, over a lot of Canada, heading northeast, then flew just south of Greenland (or is it Iceland?), then south east over the United Kingdom (Ireland and England), and down into Brussels. We reached an altitude of 35,000 feet and were flying through - 80 F temperatures for a lot of the night! Crazy! I also realized that in the last 14 days I have been in Columbus and Cincinnati, Ohio, twice to Detroit, Michigan for layovers, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Chicago, Illinois, and now Brussels, Belgium. Who woulda thunk it?!
Yesterday's departure from Columbus seems so far and so long ago... wow. It's WONDERFUL to be back here and I am SO HAPPY to see everybody and everything again... and am SO tired...
Sorry I didn't get this out to you sooner. I hope you haven't been worrying! Had a lot of greetings to do, then lunch, and my computer's been a bit slow in getting going; but it's up and running fine!
I'll write more later... I'm going to grab a nap for a bit and then try to make it until tonight and get to bed early.Have a great Tuesday!
