Eating a "Beschuit met muisjes", a traditional Dutch celebratory cookie/cake that is colored blue or pink to celebrate the birth of a new baby!
The baby whose birth we celebrated! This is my friend Diana and her twin sister, who had a baby at the end of May! He's adorable!
I got my "baby fix" and got to see, smell, and feel a baby just 2 weeks older than my own nephew, John, who I can't wait to meet when I get back to Ohio!
Diana and I got lunch at McDonald's! Ever see a Dutch Big Mac? :-)
