Belgian airspace remains closed at least until Tuesday 8:00 am
As a result of the volcanic activity in Iceland and the ash cloud over Europe, Belgian airspace remains closed until Tuesday 8:00 am. This means that all passenger air traffic to and from Brussels Airport is suspended.
Brussels Airport strongly advises passengers not to come to the airport as long as the Belgian airspace remains closed. Even after it reopens, passengers are advised to contact their airline or travel agent before coming to Brussels Airport to make sure that their flight will be operating.

As a result of the volcanic activity in Iceland and the ash cloud over Europe, Belgian airspace remains closed at least until Saturday 20:00LT. This means that all air traffic to and from Brussels Airport remains suspended.
Brussels Airport strongly advises passengers not to come to the airport as long as the Belgian airspace remains closed. We advise passengers to contact in first case their airline or travel agent before coming to Brussels Airport to assure that their flight will be operating. Some airlines communicate that their flights are delayed instead of cancelled. There will be no flights as long as the airspace is closed.

Belgian airspace closed as from 16:30 LT
As a result of the volcanic activity in Iceland, all flights in and out of Brussels Airport will be suspended from today Thursday 15 April at 16:30 until Friday 16 April at 18:00.

Cloud of volcanic ash disturbs air traffic
An ash cloud from a volcanic eruption in Iceland has made air traffic impossible in large parts of Scandinavia and the UK. As a result several flights had to be cancelled.
Chances are that Brussels Airport too will be forced to suspend all flights in the course of the day.
