I received the super-exciting news on Saturday morning (April 3, 2010) that my brother proposed to his girlfriend (who is also a good friend of mine!), and she said YES! YIPPEEE!!! They're planning their wedding for September, 2010. I am so excited to have Bethany as my sister-in-law! Interestingly, the last time I was in Belgium my older brother proposed to his now-wife. Apparently, the only time my brothers propose to their girlfriends is when I am in Belgium?! I'm not sure whether to be concerned or thrilled about this apparent trend?! :-) Since I happen to have 5 more younger brothers after the two that have now been engaged, it may be that I will have to make quite a few more trips here in order to get those brothers married! ;-D
