Photos From Week #1

This is Penny. She is the purebred mutt who was staying here with her person who was helping out before I arrived. Penny is very sweet and crosses her paws like a certain big little somebody I'm missing at home... God is so kind to provide a dog-loving and owning household for me to stay in! It helps a lot, even if they all, put together, don't weigh as much as the CCI pup I am raising right now. :-)
This is Maddie lying in Penny's bed, which is all packed up for her to leave. Maddie is a riot! She was 7 months old when I came here the first time. She's now over 2, but just as adorable, hilarious, and spirited as ever. She becomes my little "student" while I am here, and the Petries have all sorts of ideas of things they would like me to train or "untrain" her. :-) Maddie a shih tzu, and I must say, one of the first and few I truly love!
HAPPY ALMOST EASTER! This Easter is especially special, not just because I get to "unexpectedly" celebrate it in Belgium with the Petries, but also because it is Rebecca's birthday on Easter! How special! They are planning a delicious, elaborate meal and celebration tomorrow. I will make sure to take pictures! :-) The house is beautifully decorated with eggs and rabbits and flowers everywhere! Spring is here indeed, and He is truly alive and risen and my sins are forgiven!
Rebecca meets her granddaughter, Marta!! Susannah and 7 week old Marta are here to visit from Macedonia! What a gift and privilege it is to see them again! Susannah was here quite a bit the last time I came, so it is wonderful to see her again and visit and see the wondrous things God has done in her life since I was here last! (2 1/2 years ago she was single and desiring marriage and children and a Godly husband. Her life today is a testimony of answered prayers and fills me with so much happiness!) Besides that, we have an adorable baby in the house, and I can't get enough of that! :-)
Baby Marta already loves her Grandma! She will be celebrating her first Easter here with Grandma and Grandpa Petrie!
