A Glimpse into Belgium Visit 2 - Week 3

I woke up one morning to see this BIG bird perched in the tree outside my window! My bedroom is on the third floor, so it was rather interesting to be looking at this huge bird at the top of a tree... right about at my level! :-)
I would like to tell you that this is an amazing scene of the ash cloud from the Icelandic Volcano (which I will not try to spell or pronounce), (please refer to my post from 4/18/10 if you have no idea what I'm talking about :-), but alas, we have seen no signs of any volcano... other than the absence of airplanes. :-) In fact, ironically, the skies have been incredibly clear and the days beautiful and sunny since the declaring of the "Volcanic Ash Advisory". Oh well... we're not complaining! The cloud formations here ARE pretty spectacular, and I have to say that this is one of the best I've seen yet... even if they did appear before the volcano's eruption! :-) These clouds met me in front of the Petrie house when I was walking back from picking up dinner at Donner Kebab's...
"The heaven's declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the works of His hands!"
Psalm 19:1

"Proclaim the power of God, whose majesty is over Israel, whose power is in the skies."

Psalm 68:34
Donner Kebab's! The great Turkish (?) restaurant that we all love! Donner Kebab has gotten to "know" the Petrie household through the comings and goings of girls who bring the Petrie household order every now and again. He calls it "the girls' house" and has been known to invite girls to Turkey with him... don't worry, nobody's taken him up on the offer, and he hasn't invited me... yet.
My first experience with raclette... Mmmmmm! I hope it won't be my last!
